Intro

Welcome to my site, of my Locost 11 build. I started back in January 2004 with nothing more than an 8 foot by 4 foot and 6 lengths of steel. And now 16 months later it is about 2 or 3 months from being finished, SVA’d and on the road. The chassis is a basic homemade locost one, however it has been shortened by 3 inches (75mm) so that Triton/GTS Challenger (lotus 11) body will fit. A 1.8 Ford Zetec powers the car, which should be good for about 180 BHP using Weber twin 40’s and a Dunnell ECU.

Current Status

As the car is almost finished there are only a few more major things to do these are:-

1) Weld in the seatbelt anchorage points
2) Weld in the steering column mounts
3) Fit the body
4) Electrics including lights
5) Finishing touches i.e. dashboard, mirrors etc
6) Buy a full exhaust system

Also this web site is still in development, so please be patient
